Pastor Alvin Moore of Moss Point, Miss., and Director Lawrence D. Wallace are excited to present their upcoming series titled Walk a Mile in My Shoes.
The series was written and produced by Moore who also wrote and directed The Perfect Gift, which can be seen on Netflix.
The Mendenhall Tigers came into last Friday’s competition riding a wave of accomplishments after an 8-2 regular season and District Championship. The Tigers played host to a familiar opponent in Cj Bolar and the Purvis Tornados. The Tigers defeated Purvis earlier this season 38-24.
The Mendenhall Tigers achieved a milestone last Friday in a hard fought game against the Quitman Panthers. The Tigers came into the game after suffering an unexpected loss to the Northeast Jones Tigers. The loss locked the Tigers in a 3 way tie with West Lauderdale and Quitman for first place in the district.
Only two candidates qualified before the deadline and participated in the June municipal election in Braxton. Incumbents Mayor Mable Everett and Alderwoman Georgia Smith were the only candidates to qualify leaving four positions on the Board of Aldermen available.
The Co-Lin Simpson County Center recently hosted their Homecoming Tailgate.
The college partnered with local banks and businesses to provide a day of fun and fellowship for their students, as well as local high school seniors and dually enrolled juniors.
