Women with a Purpose Outreach Ministry Annual Conference
- “Developing My Ministry Conference.” The conference will convene March 8-10 at Mt. Zion Ora Missionary Baptist Church. The conference will open on Thursday night, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. with Host Pastor Kevin Youngblood, followed by Friday night, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Alfred Balthazar of Mt. Beulah Church and will close on Saturday, March 10, with sessions starting at 8 a.m. presented by Missionary Arline Brown (James Chapel Church of God in Christ), Minister Tommie Sean Matthews (Mt. Zion Ora MB Church), Bishop Carrie Crawford (After His Own Heart Ministries and Outreach) and a closing service with Bishop C. M. Lockhart of Anointed Word Ministries. A rummage sale will be held on March 9, 10, 16 and 17 from 7:30 a.m. until at Gum Springs Baptist Church. All proceeds go to missions. Items include clothes, baby clothes, furniture, jewlery and household items. The church is located on Gum Springs Road between D’Lo and Braxton off Hwy 149.
