The Simpson Cougars opened the 2018 baseball season this week with two games against Presbyterian Christian School.
On Wednesday, February 14, at approximately 3:24 p.m., the Magee Police Department received a report that juveniles had shot BB guns at a school bus occupied by students on McLaurin Drive near 5th Ave NE in the Goodwater Community.

Magee High School and Mendenhall High School decided it was time to give a little recognition to some of their students.
In Magee they started a the 22 Club for students who score above 21 on the ACT, which is where the scholarship monies start for students who are interested in going to college.

The Magee Police Department responded to a situation near 1304 1st Avenue Magee, MS last Friday. Assistant Chief Joey Womack explained that the emergency call was placed by a neighbor detailing a young woman who had sustained multiple stab wounds.
