John Ralph Perrette, 63, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Merit Health Rankin Hospital in Brandon, MS. He was born in Mendenhall, the son of Johnnie Dewey Perrette and Lottie Evans Perrette.


Thomas Sterner

Thomas Sterner passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 61 at the Copiah County Medical Center in Hazlehurst, MS. He was born on May 13, 1956, to his parents, the (late) William E. Sterner and Evelyn (Adkins) Sterner in San Antonio, TX.

He was retired from a career in the floor covering business.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Dianne Kennedy will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Saulters Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss. Mrs. Kennedy passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Mendenhall. Interment will follow in Bassfield Cemetery.


Dorothy Hollingsworth

Dorothy Hollingsworth went to her heavenly home on January 9, 2018, at Simpson General Hospital at the age of 81. She was born to her parents William and Dorothy Pierce Strobel in Philadelphia, PA.


David Edward Carruth

David Edward Carruth passed away December 27, 2017, after living a long, happy life in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida beginning in 1976. He graduated from the University of South Florida and spent his career working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and services industry.


Claudette Weems

Claudette Weems, 77, of Braxton, Mississippi, died Monday at her home in Braxton, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, July 25, 1940.

Ms. Morton, 81, of D’Lo, MS, died Friday, January 5, 2018. 


Dick Sawyer

Willie L. Sawyer, Jr. went to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 7, 2018. He was born on October 19, 1920, to Willie L. Sawyer, Sr. and Lucy Abret Risher Sawyer. 

Dick loved spending quality time with his family, especially Sunday afternoons.
