After months of planning and anticipation, 30 Peoples Bank Platinum Club travelers flew from Jackson to Atlanta on Nov. 1 on the first leg of a fall trip to Italy.

The Mendenhall Christmas Tour will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. this year’s tour features three homes.
Homes on the tour are those of Leslie and Donnie Thomas and Cathy McCormick, 611 Main Street; Jeanie and Johnny Gregory, 101 Durr Avenue; and Shay and Paul Barry, 2956 Cato Road, Braxton.
Troop 81 conducted a troop winter camp spending four days and three nights at Cloudland Canyon State Park in northwest Georgia.
We arrived Saturday, November 18, and returned on Tuesday, November 21.

The Ollie Mayhall Circle BYW of the First Baptist Church of Magee is hosting a Christmas Tour of Homes on Sunday, December 3, from 2-4 p.m.
Tickets for the tour are $10 and are available at the homes, the Magee Chamber of Commerce office, Gift Garden at MGH, MageeNews.com, Simpson County Medical Center, and from BYW members.
Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) will be holding a special blood drive for Parker Pierce on Friday, December 8, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The MBS Donor Coach will be at PriorityOne in Magee. Donors will receive a T-shirt (while supplies last). Donors can now check their overall cholesterol levels on their MBSConnect account.
