Mendenhall Junior High well represented in MS Prospects football game

Four seventh grade students from Mendenhall Junior High will be representing Simpson County in the Second Annual Mississippi Prospects Football game on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the University of Southern MS. Simpson County Falcons come in third

Because of the snow cancellation on December 9, the Falcon Midgets (9 & 10 yrs) would travel to Petal HS and play Kemper County for 3rd place in the MYFA's (MS Youth Football Association) state finals last Saturday. The layoff appeared to spark a new sense of resolve in this football team after the loss to Quitman in the semi-finals.

Simpson County Academy’s Cougar basketball teams had a busy week on the hardwood as they played games last week against Central Hinds Academy, Park Place Christian Academy, and Pelahatchie High School.

City recognizes World Champs!!!

The City of Magee recognized members of the Seven Year Old World Series Championship Baseball team at their board meeting last week.
