Keep Magee Beautiful comes to life

Keep Magee Beautiful was incorporated as the 41st Affiliate of Keep Mississippi Beautiful on Thursday, February 1.

A great deal of time and effort was put into achieving this designation by the newly appointed Keep Magee Beautiful Committee, under the leadership of Executive Director Laura Lyn Barr.

An extensive litter study for the City of Magee, debris and litter pickup reports, and a community preparedness study are among the many things that were required to be submitted to Keep Mississippi Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful.

Mayor Dale Berry said, “The City of Magee is excited to have earned this designation and is looking forward to partnering with Keep Magee Beautiful; we hope that this team can work closely with the city officials and become a great catalyst for positive change and improvements in our City.”
