Mendenhall Mayor Todd Booth called the meeting of the Board of Aldermen to order at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 5.

Election results are in for Simpson County. Primary elections were held on Tuesday June 5, to determine representatives for the Democratic and Republican Parties for the United States Senate and United States House of Representatives.

October is National Fire Prevention Month. Kindergarten-sixth grade is invited to Magee Public Library on Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. to learn how to protect yourself. The Magee Volunteer Fire Department will be at the library to talk about this year’s theme, 2 Ways Out.
